Baruch atah adonai, eloheinu melech ha’o’lam, a’sher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav, v’tzi,va’nu l’had’lik ner, shel Shabbat.

Praised are you, oh L-rd our G-d, Ruler of the universe, who has taught us the way of Holiness though the Mitzvot, and has commanded us to kindle the Shabbat lights.
